Development of new channel to market for a major travel company.

Specialist subsidiary of one of the major high street travel companies had identified that they had very low visibility of their customer base due to sales being concentrated through independent high street travel agents, despite market research indicating that 45% of their business was with repeat customers. Using a conservative capture model a business case was developed to fund a direct channel using the Internet.
